I just cut Gabe's hair for the second time. The first attempt had a decent result, but not what he normally asks for at the barber shop. This attempt resulted in - wow - a really good haircut!! And I know how I did it, too, so hopefully I'll be able to repeat the success. :)
It took 30 minutes and saved us $14. I figure $28/hr. is a pretty decent wage for a stay-at-home mom!
Yay me. :)

I'm so relieved to see this post. After not hearing from you (reading from you?) for several days, I was terrified that you had actually turned into a cat.
Good for you! Don't get your hopes up too much on being able to duplicate your success though... the first cut I gave Matt was bad, the second quite good, and the third was worse than the first. :-) But maybe that's just me! I've done it 5 or 6 times now and it is starting to get a little easier.
That reminds me though, I really need to cut Matt's hair again... if we didn't go months between cuts it would probably be a lot easier!
