Diaper deal

For those of you who have little ones in diapers, this might help! Diapers.com and Parenting magazine have a nice deal going on right now. If you're a new customer, you can get $10 off your order with this code: EMSD3780 (disclosure: this is an affiliate code - I get credit if you make a purchase.) You get free shipping if your original order is over $49. AND you can submit your receipt for a $14.97 rebate from parenting magazine. Even if you're not a new customer (I'm not) this can still be a pretty good deal. Here's what I just bought:

3 packs Luvs sz. 4
3 packs Luvs sz. 5
360 ct. Huggies wipes

After the rebate, I'll be paying $38.96 for six packages of diapers and a large box of wipes. If you've never ordered from here before, you could get the same thing for only $28.96. That works out to the box of wipes at about $8, and diapers about $3.50 a package. Good deal!

HT to Katie!

Em, I used this diaper deal last spring, ordering 3 bumgenius as a new customer and then using the rebate. I got several other people to do the same thing and to also use me as a referral so that I got a $5 credit that went to three more diapers. Ended up with 30 diapers for less than $250!

The only thing you have to watch out for is Parenting. Almost everyone got subscribed to the magazine rather than getting the rebate even though I sent in all the rebates for people and followed all the directions. I just had to call after I started getting the magazine and tell them I was supposed to get the rebate instead.

Thanks, Ingrid. I'll watch out for that!

So do you get Luvs because they are the cheapest, or because you like them best?

I'm so used to buying a big box of the store brand at Safeway every other month I'm a little overwhelmed by the choices.

Actually, I've never bought Luvs before, although I've heard good things about them. I've always bought Huggies, but honestly, their package sizes keep getting smaller and their sale prices keep getting higher, so I'm looking for other options. We'll see how these work out!
