This woman, who describes herself as "SO not a home birth kind of gal" had her third daughter on Christmas Eve in the living room right next to the Christmas tree. She showed up at the hospital later that morning and said "I just had a baby - where should I go?" :)

Wow, what a story. I love that part when she talks about the hospital being only two blocks away and yet seeming like it was in the next state. And the bit about her (formerly) favorite casserole dish. What a great story she'll have to share for the rest of her life! Thanks for posting something about it, that was neat to read.
Wow, crying all over again. Those must not just be pregnancy hormones, but now are for-the-rest-of-my-life-now-that-I'm-a-mom emotions... :)
