Not being allowed to go outside in the afternoon/evening when all his friends are out playing. This is what happens when he loses his temper and hits/kicks/bites a friend.
I like it because it is so logical - if you choose to be this unkind to your friends, then you are choosing to stay inside and not play with them.
And I'm happy to report that since we've instituted this consequence, the incidences of hitting have radically decreased. :)
