Gabe took them outside later to play in the glorious dirt box that will become the garden. Since it wasn't planted yet, it was a great place to play! Grandmommy and Granddad saved some really wonderful toys from their own boy-raising excursions, and J and T really enjoyed them.

In the evening we had another big family dinner, this time at my parents' house with Jonathan and Jenn, and the boys' Great Grandma Palmer.
Grandma had considered not coming, but I think she was glad that Mom and Dad picked her up anyway! She loves her grandchildren and her great grandchildren very much. The last time she saw Josiah was when he was just about three weeks old. It was a very different experience this time! I'm glad she got the chance to interact with him as his own little person.
